About us
Family-run carpet cleaners in Brixham
We're a local team of carpet and upholstery cleaning specialists, looking after homes and businesses across Torbay and much of Devon.
Our story
A local company that treats your home like our own
South Devon Carpet Clean was set up in 2025 in Brixham by a fully qualified carpet cleaning technician with nearly three years in the trade. What started as a one-man band has grown into a small, family-run team, working for both domestic and commercial customers.
We know your home, your office and everything inside them mean far more to you than money. That's why every job is carried out with professionalism and care, using professional-grade equipment, so you're left happy with the result and keen to recommend us to someone you know.
From carpets and rugs to sofas and chairs, from end of tenancy cleans to pubs and care homes, we're a local business you can rely on.

How we clean
The right method for every job
We carry professional equipment for every kind of clean, and we'll explain which method suits your carpets or furniture before we start.
Dry compound cleaning
Our most popular method. A low-moisture compound is worked into the carpet with counter-rotating brushes, lifting marks and stains. It's usually dry in around an hour.
Hot water extraction
A deep clean for carpets and furniture that flushes dirt out of the fibres and extracts it, along with the cleaning solution.
Pet & stain protection
Our dry compound treatment helps neutralise pet odours, helps tackle dust mites and leaves an anti-stain finish, so carpets resist re-soiling.
Steam & fast drying
We use steam for furniture, curtains and mattresses, and bring blowers when needed to help carpets and soft furnishings dry faster.
